The Almonte Skatepark project continues to inspire community support (I hope!)

This painting and nearly a hundred other art objects, goods and services were auctioned off on the evening of 11 April 2015, at a fantastic community event at the Almonte Old Town Hall, to raise money for the Almonte Skatepark Project. The project has raised about $110,000 to date (in money and in-kind donations, not including last night's event) and needs another $40,000 to build the first third of the skatepark.
